A Step-By-Step Guide To Preparing Straw Mats For Test-Cutting

This is how the straw mats arrive.

Take two mats.

Put the two mats one on top of the other and start to roll,

leaving a bit of space in the middle.

When they are totally rolled up use a few cable ties to hold them in place.

Soak the target in water for a day or two, then leave to drain. I used a plastic dustbin, but you need some wood and a couple of bricks to put on top because all the targets try to float. Then place target on stand and cut it.
